One of the coolest gifts I remember receiving as a kid was a telescope. It wasn't a top of the line model, not by any means. But it was good enough to view up close that mysterious glowing sphere in the sky. I was mesmerized. Completely. Practically every night, I'd press my eye to the scope, view the different moon cycles and ... well ... dream! :) Thirty-some years later, the moon still stirs feelings of awe and wonder in me. Tarot App Review: The Tarot Sampler App
Lately I've been geeking out over all the cool tarot apps available for my iPhone. One of my favorites so far is the Tarot Sampler app by The Fool's Dog. As the name implies, this app uses a sampling of various cards from 10 different decks for its readings on iPhone, iPad or the iPod Touch. Getting a peek at new cards is one of my favorite features of this tarot app! I love being able to view and oogle all the different cards that are not part of my collection yet! I feel like a kid in a candy store every time I open the app. This app is full of discovery. You can explore the different cards on your own at your leisure, or use the "Today's Card" feature to study one card per day. If you're in the mood to simply discover new cards, the app has an "explore" feature for browsing ... View Post

Formats change as technology improves. Pictures fade with age. How do we preserve these sentimental memories? I got excited when I discovered Legacybox, a Tennessee company that converts analog media like VHS tapes and Super8 film to digital media like DVDs and CDs. They were having a sale, and their Facebook ad caught my eye. My first impulse was to order the largest box they offered, called the "Closet" which allows 20 items to be converted. ... View Post

The Chakra Wisdom Oracle Cards set includes: 49 cards a how-to book for using the cards a meditation for each card a beautiful box for storing everything Each of the 49 cards coincides with one of the seven chakras (so there are seven cards assigned to each chakra). ...
