It’s hard to resist a laughing buddha, isn’t it?
Big ol’ belly. Usually in a relaxed, leisurely pose. Grinning from ear to ear. Mouth open in laughter.
He is said to be modeled after a Chinese Zen monk and is most often associated with Maitreya, the future buddha who achieves complete enlightenment.
The lore goes that if you rub laughing buddha’s belly, you will receive prosperity, wealth and luck.
Who doesn’t want more of that in their lives?
In creating a sacred space, you may wish to add a figurine or statue of this jolly icon in the wealth corner of your home to attract abundance. Incorporating a laughing buddha statue in your magical garden will encourage prosperous and abundant blooms for harvest.
